Kuailian on Win11: the tray icon sits behind the chevron

Installed on Win11 but no window? Click Show hidden icons at the lower-right of the taskbar. Find the client, then drag it onto the visible tray so you are not hunting the chevron next time.

Win10 users expect a desktop shortcut. Win11 creates fewer shortcuts, so a flash looks like a crash. If Task Manager already lists the process, setup succeeded.

Pin the icon in Settings

Settings → Personalization → Taskbar → Other system tray icons, turn the client on. If that row is missing, dragging from overflow still works.

Cannot connect: switch nodes before reinstall

A visible window means the PC client is ready. Protocol and nearby nodes: guide. Reinstall will not punch UDP through a company firewall.

Start search finds nothing?

Search the product name from setup. If still missing, confirm the exe finished — do not only unzip to the desktop.

Tray icon will not open?

Single left-click. If a process exists in Task Manager with no UI, end it and launch from Start. Then check the firewall.
