Kuailian Windows auto-starts but there is no network? A tray icon only means the process is alive. If no tunnel, open the client as administrator and check the firewall. Still failing, switch a nearby node — order in the
guide.
People treat “I see the icon at boot” as “I am connected.” Icon and tunnel are different. Read the status line in settings before reinstalling.
Managed PCs: hand the path to IT
Without a local admin, send IT the exe from Download and the install directory. They need to allow the client process, not disable the whole machine’s protection.
Do not disable SmartScreen to get auto-start
SmartScreen is for the installer once. After setup, launch from Start. Installer prompt: SmartScreen.

FAQ
No administrator account?
On your own PC, create a local admin and install. On a work PC, send IT the installer path and ask them to allow the process — do not turn off antivirus.
Where is auto-start?
In the client settings. Win11 also lists it under Apps → Startup. Enable one place only to avoid double launch.
UAC every time after admin run?
The first consent should stick. If it prompts every launch, you may still be opening the installer from a temp folder — use Start for the installed app.
